DUMAGUETE CITY (PIA)—Foundation University (FU) here held a three-day Annual Exposition at the Robinsons Mall on February 17 to 19, 2016.
Gracing the occasion and ribbon cutting were former Finance Secretary Margarito Teves and Engr. James Villlaroman of Energy Development Corporation (EDC) with FU President Victor Vicente G. Sinco and other university officials.
The activity highlighted “FU ITVOLUTION” featuring the learning culture and academic environment of industry grade facilities and modern technology as tools for learning in implementing their K12 education program.
The Expo 2016 showcased different tracks and strands for incoming senior high school students.
Under the academic track, students can choose Accountancy, Business Management, Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics while Technical Vocational (TechVoc) track offers Information and Communication Technology, Industrial Arts, and Home Economics strands.
Other tracks include Arts and Design and Sports.
The university’s Foundation Preparatory Academy (FPA) showed a video presentation of modern expansion of facilities and a sneak preview of FU ITvolution.
Teves lauded University’s academic excellence in implementing the K12 education at par with other educational institutions in the world.
He congratulated Foundation University’s efforts in pioneering the use of modern technology in their K12 program.
Day One of the Exposition showed the traditional “Palilhi Dance” performed by students of Foundation University believed to usher good luck and success as the university opens new doors in upgrading and modernizing the quality of education and expanding its modern facilities for students, faculty and alumni of Foundation University.
Day Two featured activities on Programming and Robotics competition, EntrePinoy Product Idea competition, and karatedo exhibition.
