DUMAGUETE CITY, April 15 (PIA) – Saint Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) announces the date of the start of its summer classes as well as the opening of its regular classes.
According to Rafael Duhaylungsod, head of SPUD’s external affairs department, summer classes will begin on May 7 and the enrollment period is on April 29 until May 6.
Enrollment for the basic education new students and transferees for school year 2015-2016 is now on going and will end on June 29, while those who are enrolling for grades 7- 10 starts on May 18-23.
Classes for elementary and secondary students will begin on June 29 while classes for kindergarten pupil start on July 1.
Duhaylungsod also adds that SPUD is now a K-12 ready university and is now accepting aspiring senior high school students. The Department of Education (DepEd) approved SPUD to offer accountancy, business and management for the academic track, home economics – bread and pastry production, food and beverage services and also caregiving for its technical-vocational-livelihood track and programming for the information and communications technology track.
Meanwhile, enrollment for college students in SPUD is slated on July 13-18 but the university is accepting new students and transferees this summer. Classes in college will begin on July 20, 2015.
